Just Another Week To Go With The Mo

Well. This is what happens when you don't shave your upper lip and surrounds for 22 days. Let this be an abject lesson to you all....

It is certainly becoming noticeable (aka annoying). I can definitely sense that it is there. Lesleigh definitely senses it is there, especially when I go to kiss her....

The donations are still rolling in and a big THANKYOU to all who have contributed thus far. I will post the total raised in my last blog. Posted by Picasa

How To Grow A Mo Without Evening Trying...

As I hit the 13th day of Movember, the Mo is slowly starting to take shape. The Biker/Chopper/Merv Hughes Mo is coming into effect and is here to stay....at least for the next 17 days. A big thankyou to all of you who have sponsored me and are funding my little habit. Its going to a good cause so please f contribute if you are able! It can be done by going to http://www.movember.com.au/au/sponsor, enter my Rego number which is 6388 and your credit card details.

Do I have a moustache yet, Do I have a moustache yet...

Sadly, the answer is still a resounding no. There is a collection of facial hair that is alleging itself to be a moustache, but alas, the progress is slow. There are still gaps so the comb over is still a possibility.

Thank you very much for the support thus far.

Hair Goes On, Hair Goes Off

It is now Day 3 of Movember. I haven't blogged anything until now because things have been a little slow in the mo stakes, as evidenced by the photo. I know Movember is all about acquiring facial hair, but I have taken the unthinkable step of removing my muttons in an effort to not overshadow my eventual mo (it's coming I swear!!).

Already it looks as if I am going to have a big gap in the middle above my lip. I may have to implement some sort of comb over or visit Advanced Hair Studios for some strand by strand (TM) replacement therapy. I will see how it goes over the next week or so.

A big thank you to those who have pledged sponsorship. I assure you that it is all going to a good cause. If anyone has any suggestions as to the kind of mo I should grow, drop me an e-mail. At the moment, I am thinking "gay biker from Village People" mo. Again, I will see how things turn out in the coming weeks. Posted by Picasa

Mo Growing Rules

I just checked out the Movember rules for growing a mo (http://www.movember.com.au/au/members/mo_rules.pdf). It specifically states:

"There is to be no joining of the mo to side burns - that's a beard"

Well...Looks like I will have to keep a close eye on my facial hair and establish some kind of no-man's land so never the twain shall meet....
